Who are the F1’s future champions

There’s not a lot of people who get the chance to become F1 drivers. There’s even less of those who end up earning the title of the world champion. We all know the names of famous racers such as Michael Schumacher, but who will be the next F1 champion? Here’s a list of six possible candidates.

Mitch Evans

Evans is a 21-year-old driver from New Zealand with an experienced manager. Mark Webber, the man who took him under his wing, is a nine-time winner of Formula 1 races. Evans proved his talent at the GP2 race despite starting last, and continued showing off his talent on the Le Mans debut.

Pierre Gasly

Gasly is a 20-year-old driver from France who’s been named the head of the squad for 2016 Red Bull Junior Team. In 2014, he won second place at the Formula Renault 3.5 Championship. During his GP2 debut, he managed to score 4 podiums

Oliver Rowland

Rowland is the candidate from Great Britain who dominated the 2015 Formula Renault 3.5. While fighting for the title of the champion, he managed to win eight times. Thanks to this great success, he is now a part of the F1 young driver program.

Jack Aitken

Another driver from Great Britain, Aitken participated in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. He managed to prove his worth during a six-way title fight that was extremely close. This earned him a position in the Renault’s young driver program.

Tatiana Calderon

This young driver from Colombia joined Aitken during a race at Arden. She is the first female driver who’s ever raced with the Daniil Kvyat team. Calderon has recently been given the title of vice-champion of the MRF Series. After a few years in Formula 3, she’s managed to join the GP3 series.

Niko Kari

Kari is a young driver from Finland who’s getting really close to beating Kimi Raikonen and Mika Hakkinen. During the SMP F4 Championship, he’s managed to take 7 wins in only 21 races. It was his first single-seaters series, but in 2016, he’s going to race as a driver of the Red Bull Junior Team.
